Welcome Home Barry!

(Barry is Add's favorite nickname, although I'm not convinced she came up with it on her own ) We received quite the welcome after our Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota Road Trip! I included quite a few pics in an effort to give you a glimpse of our adventures over the 20 hours of driving...complete with shots of local wild life, landmarks and of course...Wall Drug! (Quite possibly the biggest tourist disappointment in the history of the world, however it did make for some fabulous Barrett photo shoot opportunities! See below :)

Saying cheese for the camera...or Rupert as Addison likes to say!

South Dakota's pride and joy...a close runner up to Wall Drug, the
Corn Palace!!!
I'm thinking we were getting a little tired of the photo stops along the way, or maybe just really tired of driving...we were getting so close to home at this point, only 6 more hours to go!

Two words and definitely my favorite part of

Wall Drug...

Giddy Up!!

Here it is...don't blink, you might miss it!

MT. RUSHMORE!!!!!
Made the whole trip worth it. It was a really cool site to see and fun to read all about the history of it's construction and how they currently maintain things today.

Posing with some local wildlife and the famous four!
It was SUPER windy!

Add Video

Our failed attempt at a self portrait, we were trying to capture that local wildlife again!

Almost there!!!

Ralphie <3's Bucky

Kissing mascots!

Gearing up with a new backpack to go back to school...I was officially admitted into a PhD program in Counseling Studies and I start in July.
Super excited to be Dr. Stoks!

Some "local" wildlife...care of
Bear Country USA!!!!

Resting up...

Ok, this one was actually captured for real, in the wild...first sighting of the trip, if you squint you can see a moose in the distance! Thanks padre for teaching me to spot wildlife on the side of the road!
The first of many photos!

At least we had beautiful scenery to pass the time! Wyoming was soooo pretty!

The Grand Tetons!
This is where our adventure began, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We're pretty convinced that we're going to have to live in the mountains at someday (Colorado please!). The scenery was absolutely amazing.
