Wow Cont.

Oh my gosh it's been an eventful 2 weeks...complete with a trip to California, a wedding shower, Father's Day, Julian's 1st birthday, Oliver's fashion show debut, a close call with some nasty weather and an invitation assembly party! The count down has officially begun...ok, well continues, I think we're at 82 days and counting! WOoooo HOooo! Watch those mailboxes :)Addison was showing us all her moves, she's been taking some cheerleading/dance classes apparently. Well, at least that's what she told us!

Look at those rosy cheeks! We played so many different games, soccer, golf, bikes, bubbles, chalk...I knew there was a reason I was so tired when I woke up this morning!

Look at those tracing skills! She even colored Barrett's armpit pink and thought it was the funniest thing that happened all weekend!

Oliver's runway debut! Because I don't have enough to do and my heart smiles every time I wander through those Nordstrom doors...Oliver and I strutted our stuff in the "best in show" Anniversary Sale kickoff party Sunday morning.

The aftermath of the nasty storm that tore through the neighborhood on Friday night. Thankfully, neither of us were home and the nastiness skipped our block...our neighbors however were not so lucky. Please keep them all in your prayers and they begin the long clean up!

The clean up continues! A few of our neighbors even decided to make light of the situation, we drove past one neighbor's house who had a mountain of trees out front and a sign that said "Hurry...free wood, it'll go fast!"

S s s s s s SUMMER!

Nothing like a little weekend full of 5k's to kick off the summer.... let's just say we were a little sore and better brush up on our jogging skills...We've got a long way to go before we're honeymoon hiking in Hawaii! Awwww yeah! 100 days from today! I'm getting really excited!

The first race of the weekend, was a hilly trek through Hudson in honor and memory of Monica Jensen...you should check out how awesome she was and register for next year's race http://www.monicajensenfoundation.org/

Here we come...bringing up the rear! And the star of the race! Brent finished 4th in his age group WOOOHOOO...not to mention kicked his cousins' butts, finishing in 21 minutes!

The other project of the weekend was a little bit of gardening, I'm so proud! I just LOVE my peonies...they just might be my favorite part of the house (oh yeah, the flowers and Barrett, definite favorites!)

Beats, Basil and Sweet Peppers...YUM! I can't wait to pick them!And I am so thankful for our neighbor's encouragement...she suggested converting some of our planter boxes into veggie gardens, here's my first attempt! Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Squash and Green Beans! And home grown is so budget friendly too!
